Diddy Trial Day 26 Summary: The testimony of the Marathon of the former combs girlfriend ends

Diddy Trial Day 26 Summary: The testimony of the Marathon of the former combs girlfriend ends

It was a dramatic piece of tape, and the lawyers who defended Sean “Diddy” combs want the jury to see that the core of the sexual traction case against the rap magnate, who could spend the rest of his life after the bars.

As part of his effort to question the ex -girlfriend of combs that he was in a coercive relationship with the combs, marked by his forced to participate in sex with male prostitutes, Thursday’s defense lawyers reproduced an audio recording of Peines that suggested that they should break their romance.

“Keep ahead,” jurors heard the voice of combs listening to the audio files.

“Only concentrate in what, at the end of the day, will make you feel better,” combs were heard saying. “How can we get to a solution you can follow?

Wasting under the pseudonym “Jane” for a marathon six days in the witness post, he said that his relationship with the combs “began to deteriorate” in December 2023, and tried to be sincere about the way he felt about the orgies fed with drugs: he called “hotel nights.”

“I had indicated that I was not aware of how you felt,” said defense lawyer Tey Geragos.

Jane replied: “Yes.”

“I didn’t want you to be upset,” Geragos said.

“Yes,” Jane replied again.

Combs is accused of sexual trafficking, extortion and transport conspiracy to participate in prostitution in a sensational case that has captured the headlines from the beginning. Comps has declared himself innocent and insists that any sexual act, regardless of how far from the mainstay, were private matters among adults who consent.

Jane, as witnesses before her, has presented deeply intimate and disturbing details about what, according to her, happened by closed doors with the rap magnate and the fashion taste that has been locked since September 2024.

The ex -girlfriend painted an intense image of how the combs allegedly unraveled during their three -year relationship, when she began to face public scrutiny about her private life, civil demands and federal criminal investigation that has led him to fight for her life in a Manhattan court room.

Tyling through tears and sobs, Jane told the jury on Thursday that he would renounce all the money, the holidays and the gifts that the combs offered him during his relationship if that meant that he had never had to have sex with a stranger during the sexual parties of the days, he said, Comong pressed it to participate.

Jane told the jury that he participated in the orgies because ComBs had threatened to retain his exorbitant rental payments or release a tape from her having sex. She said she even violently attacked her once.

The combs lawyers spent days trying to question those statements by making him admit that their relationship was complex and even loving. Jane, one of the key witnesses to the Prosecutor’s Office, admitted that he still loves the combs, deeply wanted to have a normal relationship with the rap tycoon, and was even jealous of the time spent with other women.

“He was obliged to be, just carrying this impossible pressure and they were not asked to have anything of that pressure like me,” Jane testified. “I thought it was unfair. Every night with these men.”

As the trial approaches at the end of their sixth week, prosecutors suggested that they could rest their case at some point in next week. The court will resume on Friday with a federal agent and Jonathan Pérez, one of the combs attendees and a summary witness.

The combs lawyers have not said if the rapper would testify in his own name or what he has reserved for the jury before the trial ends.

Prosecutors release Peines voice recordings

As the defense interrogation came to an end, they launched two combs of combs of combs that had been reproduced for the jury earlier this week. The lawyers argued that the recordings highlight how Jane and Combs were willing to participants in the “hotel nights” who presented witnesses who participate in several sexual acts with male prostitutes while the combs watched, masturbated and changed with the escorts.

Jane testified that he would not have traveled with combs to the Turks and Caicos if he had known that a male escort would appear. The combs lawyers, however, played for the jury a voice note that sent Comink after the trip, saying: “I took that, very funny with you.”

The jury members also heard an effusive voice note of the combs, thanking Jane for coming to the trip, and said she was her “crack pipe.”

“Hello baby, we had a great time. Stay in light. UM, everything is fine. Rest. You are the crack pipe. That is my new name for you, the crack pipe, or I should call it CP,” comb was heard in the audio recording of March 2023.

“Until your knowledge, what was saying that you are crack pipe? I had an addiction to you, is that what you understood?” The combs lawyer asked, Tey Geragos.

“Yes, for my sex,” Jane replied. In the recording, Comps also referred to his “contract” of love, which, explained Jane, was the agreement they reached for Combs to pay him a monthly rental of $ 10,000.

In another recording, taken in 2021, combs are heard asking Jane to establish a “hotel night” with a male escort called Don.

“I am trying to put excuses to get out of this thing he is encouraging to install me,” he testified after the message was played.

The legal problems of combs grow

As the testimony in the Criminal trial of Comong continued on Thursday, another ex -girlfriend of the rap magnate again filed a civil lawsuit against him, claiming that he was forced to travel to see him and have sex with him.

Chelsea Lovelace, whose name has been mentioned by Jane in Comong’s criminal trial, accused Combs of drugs, leaving her pregnant and then urging her to abort the pregnancy before suffering a spontaneous abortion.

The civil complaint echoes the criminal charges facing Combs, and Lovelace alleged that combs was assisted by employees to induce her to do things against her will and forced her to take drugs. She claims that Comong slapped her and paid an assignment, “that he used to control her, while reduced the work.” Lovelace seeks not specified damage to sexual aggression, aggression and negligent inflicence of emotional anguish.

Lovelace originally filed its demand under a pseudonym last year. Combs has denied irregularities and tried to dismiss the demand.

The lawsuit adds to the growing list of civil lawsuits that face, in addition to the federal criminal case for which he is in trial. At least 59 different people, 32 women and 27 men, have accused the combs of sexual aggression in the last three decades and have pending active demands, according to the judicial records reviewed by ABC News.

The defense focuses on the mysterious rapper

The first two hours of the Court on Thursday were dominated by a closed door conversation between the judge who supervises the case, the lawyers of Combs and federal prosecutors.

According to defense lawyer Marc Agnifilo, the problem revolved around an incident of January 2024 that “took place behind closed doors in a hotel room, but there were other people there.”

Agnifilo spoke vaguely about it because the judge suggested that he had governed certain details that should not be revealed as part of his order, allowing Jane to testify under a pseudonym. Agnifilo pressed the problem to be transmitted completely in the courtroom.

“Part of the reason why the evidence is completely public is, so if other people realize that they know something about an event discussed in a public hall, they can present themselves and share their memory about it,” said Agnifilo. “That is the practical side of constitutional right to a public trial. It is public for a reason.”

The prosecutor Maureen Comey did not agree, saying that sufficient information about Jane has been revealed and the event in question. He declared more, he said, it is a “claim to try to harass and intimidate this witness.”

The American district judge Arun Subramanian agreed with federal prosecutors. After that, Jane returned to the witness post, where Geragos asked about a January 2024 trip to Las Vegas she took with a nameless rapper.

During a break in his relationship with combs, Jane said he flew to without City on the private plane of the second rapper, attended a birthday dinner, visited a Striptease club and returned to the host’s room. There, he said, he found a escort named Anton, an escort with which he had slept during a “hotel night” with combs, having sex with a woman while approximately half a dozen people saw.

When discussing the episode during the direct exam, Jane said he briefly flirted with the rapper, but quickly left the room. What was not discussed until the defense interrogated Thursday was Jane’s admission that he had shown his breasts to the room before taking off.

“I think he said something in the line that he thought he was beautiful, and wanted blank,” Jane testified.

“And the rapper told you at that moment that he had always fallen in love with you?” Geragos asked.

“Yes,” she said.

Jane said she did not tell Combs about the episode until June 2024, after she testified, Comung physically assaulted her, leaving her with hrackers and a purple eye. After an explosive fight, which Jane admitted that she started for the first time, she testified that combs forced her to have sex with Anton, the same male escort she saw in Las Vegas.

Before any sexual contact with Anton, Jane said he had told Comong about seeing Anton at the January party in Las Vegas.

Geragos summoned combs saying: “I can’t believe you’ve gone to another man’s monster.” Combs and other witnesses have referred to “hotel nights” as “monsters.”

Comps was so angry that Jane testified, Comink left without the two had sex at the end of the party.

Geragos also asked Jane about the alcohol that she and combs consumed before the fight, two champagne drinks and two or three shots of tequila each, and the next sexual encounter. Defensor lawyers have argued that combs violence was promoted by their addiction to drugs and jealousy, rather than a desire to force women to have sex.
