Former Vice President Kamala Harris, in “Good Morning America” of ABC on Tuesday, said he regrets not personally challenging former President Joe Biden to run for re -election.
In an interview with the co-presenter of “Good Morning America” Michael Strahan, Harris said he was “reckless” on his part not to raise his concerns with Biden by choosing to run for re-election.
“Do you regret not express your opinion at that time?” Strahan asked Harris on Tuesday, who wrote in his campaign memories “107 days” that the re -election decision was that of Joe and Jill Biden.
“Yes,” said Harris, “and I, and I have reflected on that, and I have written about that.”
“Would that have imported if you did?” Strahan asked Harris.
“I don’t know,” Harris replied. “I don’t know, but I can only assume responsibility for myself and, by reflection, you know, and I talk about it in the context of asking him a question about myself,” was the grace not to bring it to him, or was it reckless? “

She added: “And on my part, I reflect on that and I feel it was, it was an imprudence about not raising him with him.”

She said she felt that raising her concerns with Biden would be seen as “selfish.”
“I speak of what was going through my head, right? And what was going through my head to not mention it was that it would seem very selfish and, therefore, perhaps it lacked the credibility I deserved? But I do think about it. I think about it,” he said.
“And I also say, and I speak extensively about this, my concern for him that was running for re -election was completely separated from my admiration and knowledge about his ability to serve as president of the United States, which was consistent and never hesitated,” Harris added.
