The mass shooting was developed just after midnight near the intersection of Bibbs and Commerce streets, less than one mile west of the Capitol building of the state of Alabama, according to the police.

Arrests have not been announced and police officers have published few details.
A group of people met at the intersection when the shots exploded, according to the police.
The officers went to the place after receiving shooting reports in the area. Upon arrival, the officers found several people injured by shots.
An adult man and a woman died from her wounds, according to the police. The names were held by the Police, waiting for the notification of their relatives.
According to the police, they took hospitals to hospitals with injuries that threaten the lives of three other people, in addition to one of the victims of injured minors, were taken to hospitals with injuries that threaten life.
The remaining victims were hospitalized with injuries that did not enhance life, police said.
A reason for the shooting remains under investigation. Detectives, according to police officers, are interviewing witnesses and combing through surveillance videos in an effort to identify suspects.
