Jasveen Sangha, the so -called “Queen of Ketamine”, agreed to declare himself guilty of five federal positions, including the sale of the actor of “friends” Matthew Perry the dose of ketamine that led to his death in October 2023, according to the Department of Justice.
He agreed to declare himself guilty of a position of maintaining a place involved in drugs, three ketamine distribution positions and a ketamine distribution charge that results in death or serious body injuries, according to the DOJ.
Sangha, 42, would be the last of the five people accused in Perry’s death to declare himself guilty.
It is expected to declare “in” the coming weeks “, according to the Department of Justice. She faces decades in prison for each position.
“She is assuming the responsibility of her actions,” said her lawyer, Mark Geragos, in a statement.
Sangha had been scheduled to go to trial at the end of September. The double American-UK citizen has been in custody since his arrest in August 2024, almost a year after Perry’s death.
Perry died of an overdose of ketamine on October 28, 2023, at the age of 54. The actor was discovered without responding in a jacuzzi at his home in Los Angeles, police said. A autopsy report revealed that he died from the acute effects of ketamine.

“Sangha worked with Erik Fleming, 55, from Hawthorne, to knew Ketamine to Perry, a successful actor and author whose fights with drug addiction were well documented,” said the United States prosecutor’s office for the Central District of California in a press release. “In October 2023, Sangha and Fleming sold 51 Ketamina Vials, which were provided to Kenneth Iwamasa, 60, from Toluca Lake, Perry personal assistant.”
“With Perry’s death, Iwamasa repeatedly injected Perry with the ketamine that Sangha supplied to Fleming,” the statement continued. “Specifically, on October 28, 2023, Iwamasa injected Perry with at least three shots from Sangha’s ketamine, which caused Perry’s death.”
Iwamasa, who admitted in judicial documents that administered the ketamine on the day Perry died, declared himself guilty in August 2024 of a conspiracy charge to distribute ceamina causing death, the Department of Justice said. It is scheduled to be sentenced on November 19.
Fleming admitted in the judicial documents that distributed the ketamine that killed Perry, prosecutors said. Like Iwamasa, he declared himself guilty in August 2024 of a conspiracy charge to distribute ketamine and a ketamine distribution charge that results in death and will also be sentenced this November.
The prosecutors said that upon learning of Perry’s death, Sangha, “he called Fleming on the signal to discuss how to distance himself from her,” including instructing him to “eliminate all our messages.”
“Two days after Perry’s death, Fleming left Sangha a voicemail on the signal and sent a text message: ‘Please call … I have more information and I want to bounce the ideas. I am 90% sure that everyone is protected. I never dealt with [Perry]. Only your assistant. Then the assistant was the facilitator, “the Department of Justice said.
In his guilt declaration agreement, Sangha also admitted to having sold Ketamine in relation to another death due to overdose, prosecutors said. The victim Cody McLaury died hours after Sangha sold four Ketamine roads in August 2019, according to the Department of Justice.
In addition, he admitted to having used his residence of North Hollywood to “store, pack and distribute narcotics, including ketamine and methamphetamine, since at least June 2019,” said the Department of Justice. Authorities found 79 vials of liquid ketamine, among other drugs and drug trafficking items, such as a money counting machine, in their residence during a search in March 2023, said the Department of Justice.

In the most recent statement in the case of Perry, Dr. Salvador Plasencia declared himself guilty at the end of last month for four ketamine distribution positions. Plasencia distributed ketamine to Iwamasa to inject the actor, however, did not supply the doses that killed Perry. It is scheduled to be sentenced on December 3.
“Dr. Plasencia is deeply regretted by the treatment decisions he took when providing Ketamina to Matthew Perry,” said his lawyer, Karen Goldstein, in a statement. “He is fully accepting responsibility by declaring himself guilty of drug distribution.”
Dr. Mark Chávez declared himself guilty in October 2024 of a conspiracy charge to distribute ketamine. He admitted that he sold Ketamine plasence and then gave Perry. He faces 10 years in prison when he is sentenced on September 17.
