Cerna wrote that some of the men have been convicted or arrested for crimes in the United States, even for murder, assault, harassment and drug crimes, writing that ICE personnel “carefully examined each individual alien to ensure that they were actually members of ADD.”
To determine if a non -citizen was a “ADD member,” said the police allegedly used testimony of victims, financial transactions, computer controls and other “research techniques.”
“Ice was not simply based on publications on social networks, the photographs of the alien that exhibit hand gestures related to gangs or tattoos only,” said Cerna.
The lawyers of the Department of Justice said that the judge’s temporary restriction orders “are an affront to the broad constitutional and legal authority of the president to protect the United States of dangerous foreigners that represent serious threats to the American people.”
Boasberg ordered the Department of Justice to present, for Tuesday, an affidavit about how many non -citizens were deported under the AEA and when they were withdrawn from the country.
