The attempt of defense lawyers to ensure Sean Com LaT, an indulgent sentence, continued Friday afternoon with his lawyer claiming that he has “not treated a trauma” that, according to him, has colored the life of the rap magnate.
In a speech that repeated many of the arguments in his written presentations, the lawyer Brian Steel highlighted how combs “in total poverty” grew, was raised by a single mother after his father’s death and, however, he succeeded in the music industry.
However, Steel told the district judge us Arun Subramanian that the life of the combs became worse due to a “addiction to serious drugs that got out of control.” According to Steel, combs addiction began after drugs were prescribed after a medical procedure in the early 2000s.
“He lost his course. He was medicated because his body was injured. His emotions were injured,” Steel said.

Steel argued that the combs had been “severely punished” during their year at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. He said that combs has taken full advantage of his prison time helping others and being sober for the first time in 25 years.
“He has not seen daylight, except when he is transported to the courtroom,” said Steel.
Steel also stated that Comps has been punished enough through business and damage to reputation, claiming that some of the media have treated it “like a leper.”
“That name and prestige have gone,” said Steel. “He has cursed his children with that name.”
Steel also said that “Comong’s money is gone”, since he says he is fighting almost 100 civil lawsuits and irreparable reputation damage.
“I don’t know who among us would exchange places with Sean combs,” Steel said. “He is completely broken. No one needs to give them any speech; nobody needs to tell him that he needs to assume responsibility. He has punished more than anyone could punish him and that he will remain with him for the rest of his days.”
