An 8 -year -old boy was bitten by a shark while diving on the coast of Key Largo, Florida, Labor Day, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 3:24 pm on Monday, said Monroe County Sheriff’s Office in Facebook publication. The victim was transferred by the trauma Star to the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
The authorities notified the United States Coast Guard and the Florida Fishing and Wildlife Conservation Commission on the incident.

The child’s current condition has not yet been launched.
This attack marks the latest of a series of shark meetings in the Florida Keys region. Last July, a 37 -year -old man survived multiple snacks of a Toro shark while heching near a reef in Key West.
