President Donald Trump is scheduled on Monday to hold a high -risk meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, since the United States continues its efforts to negotiate an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip.
Netanyahu is expected to arrive at the White House at 11 am et. Approximately half an hour later, Trump and Netanyahu are scheduled to enter a bilateral press meeting closed in the Oval office.

The two leaders will break for lunch in the cabinet room at noon, according to the White House, and are expected to go to the press at 1:15 pm et.
Trump in the afternoon is also scheduled to meet with the leadership of Congress, as it seeks to avoid a government closure.

The president will organize the bipartisan group, including the president of the House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, the leader of the majority of the Senate, John Thune, the leader of the Senate minority Chuck Schumer and the leader of the minority of the House of Representatives, Hakeem Jeffries, in the oval office at 3 PM ET, according to the White House.
