A violent robbery occurred in the house of California by Beanie Babies Mogul Ty Warner who left a woman in a coma, authorities said.
A Nevada man now faces multiple positions, including the attempt at murder, in relation to the invasion and assault of the house, according to the Office of the District Prosecutor of Santa Barbara County.
The incident took place on May 21 at the house of Montecito de Warner, according to the judicial documents obtained by ABC News.
The suspect, Russell Maxwell Phay, 42, of Henderson, Nevada, was arrested “after violently attacking a stranger inside a private residence and sweeping himself of the deputies”, the Sheriff’s Office of the County of Santa Barbara saying.
The agents who responded to the residence found the victim with “serious injuries” outside and, after a search for the residence, the suspect was locked in a bathroom above, Sheriff’s office said.
“The suspect tried to flee leaving a second -floor bath window,” Sheriff’s office said in a press release. “He jumped to the ground where he was arrested by the deputies and the K9 of the Sheriff.”

The victim, identified in the criminal complaint as L. Malek-Aslanian, was transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The attack left it “comatosa due to a brain injury,” the complaint said.
The complaint alleges that Phay entered the house with the intention of stealing her, then kept Malek-Aslanian against her will and assaulted her, causing large body injuries. The victim was “particularly vulnerable,” the complaint said.
The researchers have no indication that the victim or suspicion knew each other, the authorities said.
The owner was identified in the complaint as T. Warner. The Santa Barbara County District Prosecutor’s Office confirmed that it was Ty Warner.
Phay was accused on Friday of attempted first -degree murder with premeditation and deliberation, residential robbery, kidnapping, assault and resistance to a peace officer, the district prosecutor’s office saying. He is also accused of special accusations for personally inflicting a great body injury that results in a coma.
Phay declared himself innocent of his positions. Your bond has set at $ 1 million.
It is scheduled to appear before the court a preliminary hearing on June 2. The lawyer’s information was not available immediately.
